The best outdoor mall in Newport Beach! If you are looking to get in some major shopping then you simply must check out the Fashion Island mall. Near PCH, this outdoor mall is the perfect spot to grab lunch and shop till you drop. From Nordstrom’s to Neiman Marcus this mall has it all. I always enjoy parking near Neiman Marcus and looking at all the latest things first, then I walk on over to a nearby cafe and enjoy the afternoon ambiance at lunch. (Special Tip) make sure to wear your walking shoes because you will want to be comfortable here, so you can make it to all your favorite stores!

1. Seaside Dining:

• If you love to people watch and sight see, make sure to check out waterfront eateries like Bluewater Grill and Circle Hook Fish Co where you can dine al fresco with panoramic views of the harbor. Opt for chic resort wear, and statement sandals. Most of all enjoy your seaside dining experience because the food and ambiance are just epic. As I mentioned above, make sure to bring a light denim jacket or a shawl here as it can get breezy near the water, especially in the evenings.

2. Hidden Gem:

• My absolute favorite restaurant to visit in Newport beach is the famous hidden gem, Beachcomber Café! You can dine on the sand overlooking the ocean. Pro-Tip: Make sure to book a reservation because it is always very busy, but oh so worth it! A must try is the beachcomber burger or the fish and chips!

Oh here I am, enjoying the view of boats with a glass of Chardonnay! @ Lido Village. Notice how I’m layered up? One minute its a nice sunny day, then it gets cold at sunset. Good thing I had my favorite shawl ready in my bag. You just never know with the weather. Its always good to be prepared on a trip!
