The holiday season is the perfect time to splurge on a new evening bag! Think about Halloween parties, Christmas parties, and New Years Eve! This is the best time of year to add a little sparkle to our outfits.

Some evening bags are so beautiful and rare they are like a work of art, especially limited edition pieces. I have been collecting evening bags for years and I consider it one of my favorite hobbies!  While handbags are meant to be practical, I think evening bags are meant to be fun and elegant. Some of my favorite pieces are by Judith Leiber. I absolutely love sparkles and a Judith Leiber Swarovski crystal bag never disappoints. Every season designers come out with their own version of the evening bag. Some are to die for and some are not.  There is nothing more fabulous than a gorgeous evening bag to finish off your look. 

Whether you have a fancy holiday party or a casual dinner date, there is an evening bag perfect for your occasion!

So where do you wear your evening bags? Most of the time they are meant for special occasions or events. Wearing them to the hottest nightclub and dancing the night away is always a good time. But let’s get real there’s not a party every day, unless of course you have a very exciting life!

Evening bags can easily be dressed down with jeans during the day for a fun look. Who doesn’t love taking pictures of their favorite bag next to a glass of champagne or a cup of coffee at the local café or bar? Champagne does pair well with a Chanel sitting next to it). Wear your bag out to dinner at your local restaurant, you don’t have to be at a fancy party to enjoy your favorite evening bag.

Always live your life to the fullest and wear your special pieces as much as you want. When I’m not using my evening bags, I like to store my favorite pieces on my closet shelf as an uplifting piece of art to admire daily.
