Italian Sliders

This crowd pleasing sandwich bursts with flavor. A perfect sandwich to serve at any event.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 tomatoes sliced
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 pkg Hawaiian rolls
  • 6 slices salami
  • 6 slices turkey
  • 6 slices provolone cheese
  • 1/2 sliced red onion
  • 1/2 cup banana peppers
  • 2 dashes Italian seasoning
  • 1 dash salt
  • 1 dash pepper
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard

Method
 

  1. Slice Hawaiian rolls in half
  2. Layer the deli meat and cheese starting with the salami, then turkey. Top with cheese.
  3. Add sliced tomatoes
  4. In a bowl, mix together mayo, mustard, red wine vinegar, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper.
  5. Stir in red onion, banana peppers and shredded lettuce. Mix until combined.
  6. Spread melted butter and grated parmesan cheese on top of buns and bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes covered in foil. Then remove foil and bake an additional 5-7 minutes. Just to toast the rolls and melt the cheese. Careful not to burn.
  7. Slice the sliders and serve warm.
  8. Enjoy!
